Arturo Chiang is a hands on designer with a passion to create modern classic footwear that is chic and always affordable. Arturo Chiang was raised in Chile with family also rooted in China. He studied at the prestige school of design in Paris.
In 1985, Arturo moved to New York, studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology and continued to work in couture with luxurious Italian fabrics and expert tailor Dimitri.
Looking for a way to bring couture fantasies down to in a more modern and wearable way, Arturo found himself designing accessories, which ultimately led to a meeting with Vince Camuto, then the head of Nine West.
The Arturo Chiang collection gives women affordable luxury and timeless styling. “The woman who wears my designs is sophisticated and follows fashion, but it is not led by the Trends.”
